Daniel Zeichner MP

Daniel Zeichner is the Member of Parliament for Cambridge. He served on the Science and Technology Committee before being promoted to be a shadow transport minister. He is Chair of the APPG on Data Analytics, Vice Chair of the APPG for Life Sciences, and Vice Chair of the APPG for Climate Change. Daniel takes a keen interest in science policy: he is a member of Scientists for Labour and hosted the first ever Entrepreneurs Network event organised by Labour’s Business and Innovation team which brought together medi-tech companies. He is patron of the Cambridge e-Luminate Festival. Daniel studied history at King’s College, Cambridge. Before becoming an MP he worked in IT as a programmer and was a national officer in UNISON.
